Am I alone in wanting to scream every time someone says, or implies, that slash is equivalent to porn? I will admit off the bat that I've never like the word porn. Outside of the fandom community, and even inside the fandom community, porn is almost always used in a pejorative manner - read this definition for a starter:

The author was not best pleased and the moderators went into action.
